Summer Solsnitch is Edmonton's annual fantasy Quadball tournament, held every year on the weekend of the summer solstice. Since 2015, players from across Western Canada have gathered for a weekend of on-site camping, community meals, and Quadball. Whether you're a seasoned player or a curious newcomer, Solsnitch is about the vibes—not the scoreboard.

Yes! We can accommodate dairy-free, gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, and other dietary needs. Please note your restrictions on the registration form.
Solsnitch is a fantasy tournament—we prioritize vibes over winning! Teams are drafted on-site so everyone gets mixed up. It's a great intro to Quadball or a fun weekend for experienced players.
Quadball generally allows contact (tackling), but we offer a non-contact option. Just indicate on your registration form if you’d prefer to play non-contact and we’ll make sure you’re accommodated.
Nope! We provide tents, sleeping bags, and pillows for anyone who needs them. Of course, feel free to bring your own gear if you prefer. On-site camping is included in your registration.
The Pirates Rugby Club has communal showers and all-gender bathroom facilities on-site. Towels are not provided—please bring your own.
Absolutely! Solsnitch follows Quadball Canada’s inclusivity policies. We welcome everyone regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation. All-gender washrooms are available on-site.
